ho my god lost my voice today and i have to take backup ... ho god y ???somehow managed la... with screeches here and there .... damn ... its sooo cold in santuary also .. how to sing .......
well had sexual purity in class... it was quite controversial i would say ... keep on repeating the same things .. i mean ya its true that u should think the logical answer in a christian point of view... but come on la.. be pratical ... thinking what i am talking abt .. we youths wrote some questions for our pastors to answer us ... burning questions abt realtionships and dating stuffs.....
1) what is the rite age to date ??
Pastor's answer - there isnt any specific age to date... as long as u are ready and mature .. and ur parents allow it should be ok ....
My comment - ok this is very true ..there isnt a certain age to fall in love ... u should be ready to handle a realtionship ... this i agree with pastor.. but telling ur parent ???? this will lead to the next question.
another interesting thing here was that pastor asked .. Y do u date ?? no one answered when picked to answer .. it was answered that it was due to peer pressure .... so does that mean u fall in love cos ur friends are in love and that since ur friends have someone u should also have ...?? ya true that u would like to experience something that ur friends are experiencing but ..... what if u meet the wrong guy .. ( now we are moving into another direction ) .. ok ok next question
2 ) u mentioned that if u want to go on a relationship/date with someone tell ur parents, but practically all parents are against dating and realtionship so how can we tell them ???
pastor - i dont think so parents are against realtionship and even if they are what do u think the reason is ??? ( question back to us DUH !!! )
person A - maybe they fear that u will become too emotional and that ur studies come first ... maybe this two are the mst important reason ....
person B - not only education or fear .. image also come in esp for girls ... indian families or asian family will care alot abt image ..... so tat is the reason for disallowing dating
Person C - i dont think so tat parents are against relationship.. u have to talk to them if not u will never know ...i am sure that they would agree ( who r u kidding )
pastor - even if ur parents are uderstanding they might still not agree to all this...
my comment - very true pastor , obviously if i were a parent and have great communication with my kids .. i will still hesistant to a great deal and most probably not agree for my kids to date....i will tell my kids the same thing my parents tell me ... study and have a aim in ur life and everything will come to u .... ( do u know that this is sooooo true ..believe me ..)
this class actually set me thinking alot... in the first place y the class... second its making everyone go deeper into things that we din even know... like they are teaching us more than what we are supposed to know...for what i also dont know.... the funny thing is that ppl older than 23 are attending the lesson... for what only they know...
well we will be having another class soon ..... maybe more weird and funny questions and answers will come out .. wait and see...
next week sunday is our fellowship day .. all planned to go over to nat's house and order pizza and watch videos .. hope it will be fun ......
